Two mason jars, two moods: bright citrus with orange and lemon, or cooling watermelon with blueberries and mint. Stay hydrated without being boring about it.

Ingredients

  • For citrus jar โ€” orange, lemonhalf of each, sliced
  • For watermelon jar โ€” watermelona few wedges
  • Fresh minta sprig
  • Blueberriesa small handful
  • Cold waterto fill each jar
  • Iceas much as you like

Method

    Add your chosen fruit to a mason jar. Lightly press the softer fruit with a spoon to release the juices โ€” don't muddle, just coax.

    Fill with cold water and ice. Give it a gentle stir.

    Drink immediately for a light flavour, or refrigerate for an hour for something deeper. The watermelon-mint version especially benefits from a little wait.
